First-time lighting equipment renters
If this is your first time renting from us, we'll need some documents to verify your details before we can provide any equipment.

Please remember to bring these documents with you on the day of collection. Without them, we won't be able to issue the equipment to you.
When does my equipment rental period begin and end?

Pick up the equipment One Day in advance of your shoot, and return it One Day after your shoot.

Collection time is between 5pm - 7pm
-
Return time is between 11am - 1pm
-
Late return of equipment outside of the specified time will result in an additional one-day rental charge.
​Booking of equipment and payment terms

To secure the equipment, rental fees must be settled before or during collection.

We accept cash payments and local/international bank transfers.
Who is eligible to rent?

Rental services are exclusively available to Malaysian Citizens Aged 18 and Above Only

Security deposit
-
A refundable deposit of at least RM300 (depending on the item) is required.

Cash payments are preferred.

If the deposit is made via bank transfer, it will be refunded the next working day after you provide your account details.
​
Collection rules
-
Runner, Grab, or Lalamove collection services are strictly prohibited.
-
Only self-collection by individuals registered under their name and NRIC are allowed.
Studio Rental FAQ
Check date availablity

Contact us via WhatsApp with your preferred date and time.

Secure studio rental booking

Reserve your studio by paying the total rental fee to secure your selected date and time.

A security deposit is required. After the studio personnel checks the condition of the space and equipment, the deposit will be refunded within 3 working days.

Rental duration
-
All activities including setup, makeup, lighting tests, prop and equipment handling, dismantling, cleaning, and test shoots must be completed within the rental period. Exceeding 15 minutes will result in an extra hour's charge."

How early can I enter the studio?

Your access begins at the start of your rental period.

Footwear Policy, Do Not Walk In Studio With Shoes

Shoes are not allowed inside the studio; please leave them outside before entering.

If your shoot requires shoes, make sure to clean or tape them before entering the studio premises.
Studio Security​

Keep the studio door closed and locked at all times.
-
Absolute Studio is not liable for lost items or theft. In the event of a robbery, clients are responsible for any stolen property from the studio if the door was not closed and locked properly.
Electricity & Equipment

Ensure all electricity is turned off before leaving.

Return all studio equipments to their original positions before leaving

Exceeding / Extend rental time and charges​

Any time exceeding the rental period by over 15 minutes will result in an additional hourly fee.

Dirty backdrop or damage charges
-
Charges are RM35 per meter for any dirt or tear damage.

Am I allowed to move things around in the studio?
-
Yes, you can move things around, please ensure everything is returned to its original position by the end of your rental.
Food and Beverage Policy
-
You are allowed to eat and drink in the common area only. You may bring your own food, but cooking is not permitted in the studio.
Ensure the space is cleaned before you leave

Be sure to clean and sweep any cloths with glitters and dispose of all rubbish before you leave. If the studio is too dirty, a RM200 cleaning fee will be charged.​
Damaged equipment​

If equipment damaged, the renter is responsible for all costs to restore the item to its original condition.

Repair costs will be charged to the renter’s payment.

If the item is beyond repair, the renter is liable for its replacement value.

Loss or Stolen Item
-
The renter bears all risk of loss or theft during the rental period.

If the item is lost or stolen, the renter is liable for its replacement value.

Deposit & Cancelations Policy
-
Please note that deposits are non-refundable.

Date Change (2 Weeks in Advance)
- If your scheduled rental date is still more than 2 weeks away, you may change the date and time without any penalty, provided the rescheduled date is within a 2-month period. -
Cancellation or Date Change (Within 2 Weeks)
- If you wish to cancel or reschedule rental dates within 2 weeks of the scheduled rental, the deposit will be forfeited. -
Full Payment
- If you have paid the full rental fee and need to reschedule within 2 weeks, the deposit will be forfeited, and the remaining balance can be applied to your next booking, provided the rescheduled date is within a 2-month period.
